How to Win Showmanship at a Horse Show

"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner, I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village and in this video I'm just showing you how to go ahead and prepare for showmanship and I have already showed you how to clip the legs, how to clip the whiskers, that is not even it. You want to have your horse as clean as possible. What I mean by that is you want him spotless pretty much and regardless Rowdy is not bathe because it is really cool outside so I'm not going to do that. But you want him bathe, you want him all shiny, you want your horse looking really, really good pretty much. So you want his face to be very clean looking, really shiny, I will show you some face makeup that I use to go ahead and highlight his face. You want his coat to be really, really shiny and everything. You want his muscles to be budging. You also, you just want a clean horse. Showmanship is judge on how clean your horse is and how well you present him as a presenter. So there is just a little bit of some tips that I use. "
