" Hi this is Scott Thompson from expertvillage.com, and today we are going to demonstrate how you can show a group of students that water actually has skin. Now to show the effect of soap has on that demonstration, you can take whatever you got handy. I'm going to use this small little paper clip and smear some of this soap around on the plastic. As soon as that water and soap touch, the skin of the water pretty much dissolves: it disappears. That is called surface tension. It is a big word, it means the same as skin. But soap releases that surface tension. So the water no longer can hold its shape."
