" Hi! I'm Scott Thompson from expertvillage.com, and today I am going to demonstrate Bernoulli's theorem using a soda bottle and a ping pong ball. Once the students have had a chance to play with this activity, you can kind of shift gears a little bit to a similar demonstration, but a little bit different, that uses, instead of someone blowing, it uses the airflow out of a shop vacuum hose. You will probably have to switch the hose around in configuration, so the shop vac—you are using the exhaust air from it instead of the air getting sucked into it. Get your shop vac ready, and this is where the little heavier ball comes in handy. You might have to play around with this ahead of time to make sure that you got the right weight ball for the amount of airflow coming out of there. Put the ball on and turn on the shop vac. "
