How to Juggle One Ball

"Jeremy here on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to teach you a bit about juggling. We're going to teach you the ball juggling first and in order to do ball juggling, you don't want to do all three balls, you actually start with one, so you can get the pattern down and work your way from there. So we're going to go ahead. We're going to start with one ball. What you do, is you're actually going to do a scooping motion, and you always catch the ball on the outside, you scoop down and throw on the inside, and you're going to catch it on the outside, scoop in. So you scoop down, you throw it, you catch on the outside, scoop it, throw it, catch on the outside, and you've got to make sure you keep that scooping motion. If you just throw up and down, balls are going to end up hitting each other as they try and cross over. Also, if you get this down now, when you try to add three in and you're making sure you're going back and forth, and not out, when you add three in, that helps keep you from running after the balls which is a common, common occurrence when you're trying to learn to juggle. Once again, make sure you have a ball that's heavy enough, but not too heavy so that it's comfortable when you hold it, about half to three quarters of a pound per ball."
