"So we've learned how to throw a single back cross, just like that. Now what we need to do is learn how to put it into our juggling pattern. So when you're juggling three, like this, you're going to quickly bring one of the throws from your strong hand around and throw it into a back cross. Now if you throw it double height you'll have some extra time after you make the throw to just sit there for a second. That's okay, that's good. We're going to need that later, we're going to need that extra time. So what I want you to do is go into a three club pattern, one of your right handed throws quickly, bring it behind your back and throw straight up. Continue thinking about your technique. Think about how your hand is placed behind your back, what you're doing with your arm and make sure that you're throwing straight. A lot of the...one of the most common problems is that you'll throw too far forward or too far back. Maybe you're whipping your hand around like that and it's going way too far forward. Don't do that. Try and keep it from doing that. Try and keep the throw as vertical and as clean as possible, and then practice throwing one behind your back from either side, i.e. I'll go into a three club pattern, throw one back cross with my right hand, just like that, and then one with my left hand, just like that. Later on we'll move onto doing continuous back crosses."
