"This is Jake here with Expert Village and I'm going to show you here to capture real simply with Nero. First you are going to go to dvd, there are videos cds but I would always try to use the dvd option when you are dealing with videos to the capture video button. This is going to bring up the next window, now in this window pretty much all capture programs are pretty similar. You are going to have your video card, audio card options usually, you want to capture your formats. Let's say for instance Nero is very simple but it has like a dvd template, as a cd or a custom. By custom I would typically go to that, go to your avi, avi is one word you are really going to want to know when your are capturing video. Avi videos are very important. Now your video compression is also important I typically like with windows like Intel, if I'm using apple I like Sorenson those seem to be the best Kodaks that I like to use. "
