"EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now I talked about a columns pattern with two in one hand briefly when introducing you to four balls. This can be used in a number of different ways synchronously and asynchronously. I'm going to show you some of the things you can do it synched. Now, in a columns pattern, you can do several deferent things. This is--I refer to this as "outsides-insides." You can also switch it so that there's kind of one inside and one outside of each set though the best ways to get into this and first start learning it is to start cold right into the columns. Outsides-insides are usually simpler to comprehend simply because you don't have to deal with your hands switching more than in two places. This trick will eventually lead to better things so it's good to practice all forms, and good to practice switching the various columns styles, and then back to sync."
