"Hi! My name is Susan Jacobs of Personal Style Image Consulting and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk to you today about older, better but not necessarily harder to dress. In this clip, we're going to be talking about 50 as the new 40. Research shows, and all of you know, that never before have there been so many women of 50 years old and older in the work place and having jobs of added responsibility. Women our out there looking fabulous. You can't guess their age because they don't look it. They have funky hair dos. They're investing in the right clothing. They're spending money on themselves. Spending time and money going to the gym, going to yoga classes, looking after the family, but also looking after themselves. What this has resulted in; we're giving those younger 30-35 year olds a run for their money, and that's a good thing. Competition is fierce in the market place today and packaging is everything. With that, comes the exterior. It's not that it's all about the clothes, but the clothes are giving women a 50 and 55 and 60 the confidence that they need because you are fabulous. You look great and we know so many things. We have the experience and now we have the look. So 50 is fabulous; not frumpy or flirty. "

on 2/20/2009 I could not agree more with JJ. My first thought was that this was someone BEFORE the makeover. Ms. Jacobs, you talk about 'funky' hairdos yet you have this center-part mane of curls that might have looked fine in 1972 but not now. And that frock is not, not, not age appropriate. In fact, I can't think of any age that it would work on. Sorry, but I cannot begin to take advice from this fashion 'expert'.

on 9/25/2008 I'm sorry. I could never take fashion advise from a woman who has that hair style and outfit on. I am not trying to be rude just honest!
