Applying Top Coat Polish for Manicures

"Hi, my name is Theresa and I'm here to show you how to apply top coat and why. After you've given yourself a manicure, and you've applied your base coat and your polish, you're asking yourself, "why would I need a top coat?" Well, I'll tell you why you need a top coat. You need a top coat so you can help your nail polish stay on your nails longer. It acts like a protective coat so it will help your nail polish stay on without getting chipped and it'll keep it shiny for a lot longer. I'm going to show you how to use a base, a top coat in three easy steps. Always three steps when you're applying base coat or top coat. Here we go. After you've applied your polish, you want to let your polish dry for about a minute before you put the top coat on, and again, you go down the middle. That would be one. To the side would be two, and to the other side would be three. Three easy steps. You don't want to over apply. Down the middle, one, two and three. And like I said, this top coat will keep your polish from chipping off and from fading and it'll keep it nice and shiny. So, I would suggest that everybody use a top coat after you polish your nails."
