"Hi I'm Theresa and I'm here with Reyna and we're going to demonstrate the zig-zag part. Zig-zag parting you can do pretty much anywhere in the hair that you have a part. If you want to put your hair in a ponytail, if you want to put your hair on the side, if you just want it down the middle, you have a zig-zag part. What you'll need to do with this is get a rat tail comb or anything that's pointed and you don't need to divide, section the hair, just wherever you'd like to start the zig-zag. Get the point, sit it flat against the head, and just start making your zig-zags. You want to bring it up and then just simply separate. You can make the zig-zag parts with big zig-zags or small ones. On little girls they like small ones and on older women and girls they like the bigger ones. Again, you can start from the front or the back. I find that when you're doing it on yourself it's easier to start in the front and just work your way back. Being that I'm doing it on her hair I'm just going to start in the back. And I'm simply going to zig, zig, zig-zag, lift up and separate and there you go, you have perfect zig-zags. If you want a big zig-zag part you just simply make the big zig-zags. Lift it up and separate. You can also put a little hairspray, if you wanted to put it in a ponytail with a zig-zag part. Put a little hairspray there, brush it down and your zig-zag parts are there to stay. There you go. Nice zig-zag."
