"Now we're going to practice making another shape a series of ends to give you some facility with making circular lines. Once again, just slightly lift your applicator just a little bit above your surface. Pretend like you're making ends connected in a row. By this way, you can start to regulate the flow of the henna and get used to being repetitive and having all the shapes match. You can do several rows of these just to get used to having the exact same style. Once again, try the shading technique. We're going to use the stick to draw a little bit of the henna from the middle of the M and just give it a little bit of shading. This can be very helpful when you're making flower petals or edging a design, just to give it a little bit of a lighter shade. You can see the difference between the shaded section and the straight section."
