"Now that you've decided what color product and process you're going to follow, make sure you read the directions. See what supplies are provided in the box because everything that you need is not provided. Sometimes you need a processing cap, a large comb for combing the hair color all the way through. Make sure you have clips to section the hair off with in order to process color properly. Sometimes gloves are provided. Sometimes they're not. If they're not provided please make sure that you have gloves. You're going to have to have a timer or a watch. Pay attention so you can time your process. A color bottle is not always provided so sometimes you'll need that. If you've purchased your products at the beauty supply store, you're going to need your developer, your color and those are all purchased separately. So you go through your checklist. Make sure you have all the supplies that are needed, you've read the directions and your ready to color your hair properly. And good luck."
