Using a Large Tooth Comb for Hair Conditioning

"In this process you're going to make sure that you have a large tooth comb. Probably something that has a good quarter inch in between each teeth versus a regular comb. See the difference? You want to make sure that you have the large tooth comb. When combing through conditioner you're not going to be able to get the conditioner to go through the hair well. You need the large tooth comb to be able to get that conditioner to go all the way through the scalp. Work it. Manipulate it. The large tooth comb is very handy for that. It's good to keep one in your shower. This is probably one of the best ones that I have ever used because it's the right amount. You want to make sure that it's got the little balls on the end of it where it's not the teeth that are, some of the teeth are, how would I say that, they're pointed, these are not pointed. These are more rounded teeth. So make sure that you have the large tooth combs because your hair is going to be fragile and you want to be kind to your hair. This detangles best. Distributes the conditioner the best. So pay attention and make sure that you have a wide tooth comb handy."
