" Hi! I’m Moira from Beauty By Moira. On behalf of expertvillage.com, we’re proceeding. We have just done the base coat. Now we’re going to do a polish. Usually when you do your polish you are going to roll between your hands to blend it together so that air bubbles don’t get in. Again, with your polish, like a base coat, we’re going to go from pinkie to thumb and then go to the other hand and pinkie to thumb. That’s how polish is applied. We’re going to do two coats of polish. We’ll put on our first coat of polish. Whatever we miss the first time, we get the second time. You always need to leave a little space around the cuticle. That’s the professional way of doing it and it’s not good to get polish on your cuticles. When that happens the cuticle gets stuck on it as well that can cause hangnails. This is also chemical. So, you don’t want to splash polish all over your skin. "
