"Hi my name is Melisa Brown and we’re talking about deep tissue today. I’m going to be using my elbows a lot more than if I were to use any of my fingers because I want to save my fingers. Talking about lower back, there’s a lot of people that like the deep pressure, especially in this lower back area to break it up. A very important part to work on would be part of the gluts that means our b-u-t-t our butt. With my elbow I’m going to be on the opposite because it gives me a better angle into going in, if I go in this way I have to do a little bit more of a launch, if I going in here, being because of the height and the table, it’s a little bit easier. I’m just putting my elbow right in the middle of the gluteal area, right in the middle and I’m just staying there. You can count like 47 seconds and then take your elbow off and you can open it, you can make it a little bit more intense by opening your elbow and then just closing it again. As soon as you’re getting off, you’re going to give it a little round about just to say okay I’m done. You’re telling the skin that every thing is going to be okay. Going into the lower part of the back what I’m going to be doing is using my form and I’m going very slowly and I’m using that as a glide. Finishing it off with my elbow pressing on the bottom following the line, I don’t want to press too hard on the bone, so I just glide. "
