How to Use a Scarf to Style Your Hair

"Hi my name is Leslie Moselle and I’m from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is hair accessories. Scarves, you can find scarves, this is like a silk scarf that I actually got on a pair of slacks but I didn't actually want to use with the slacks but you can find silk scarves anywhere in any department store but most people don’t use scarves for the purpose that was intended for. As a hair accessory a scarf works really well and the best way to actually wear a scarf or to get it to stay on well is to tie it around your head with the knot at the top first. And since you’re not really going to be showing the bottom part you can go ahead and tie it in a knot making sure it’s really tight once you’re done doing that, you actually want to pull the scarf down tighten it once more and turn the scarf back around cause you don’t want to wear the knot at the top but you want to wear this as sort of a headband, so not ruining your makeup too much if it’s possible just slip the scarf back up over your hair depending on how tight or how loose you want it or as far back as you want to wear it you have your scarf like this and it’s nice for day. If you just wanna get the retro look, you wanna wear it with jeans you can wear it further towards your head or you can wear it back like this and that’s a great way to use a scarf as an accessory. And if it hangs down that’s a really cute look."
