"Now that I've shown you how to pick the right foundation I'm going to give you a couple quick tips on applying the foundation. So what I'm going to do first, I like to use an actual foundation brush, which you can find in a lot of different place. These are fantastic, most of them are made with synthetic materials and it just works kind of like nice little paintbrush. I like to take a little foundation, not too much and just apply it at certain areas on the skin. I like to almost just put little dots here. So we'll just do a little dot here on the cheeks, chin and then we'll do a little dot right over here. Now, if you want to you can go ahead and blend with this brush, but I'm going to show you another type that I really love. I like to switch up and use a buffing brush to actually work the product into the skin. The reason that I do this is that it helps to make the makeup as if it's been airbrushed onto the skin, because not only is the makeup lying on the skin, but you're actually working it in here so that it doesn't look like it's just kind of an artificial canvas, it looks like it's actually your skin on a 10 day. You just use a circular motion just like this and just kind of work it in. This way your makeup looks fantastic and people don't even realize that you're wearing it. (Turn just a little bit) Another thing that I recommend is I don't think it's a good idea to wear foundation all over the face. A lot of us don't need it so just apply foundation where you need the coverage, you don't have to do it all over and into your jaw and you down into your neck. If your foundation is a good match for you just apply it more on the t-zone area or if you have some break outs maybe you want a little coverage on the cheeks there, go ahead and do that too. The only exception to that rule I would say is if you're wearing a foundation with SPF in it, go ahead and put a little bit on all over that way you're getting good even sun protection when you go out and there we go."
