"In this clip, I'm going to show you how we actually apply our seaweed gel. It's warm, so it?s not uncomfortable for our client. We're just going to apply in effleurage movements. We want to make sure our strokes are slow, but also with enough pressure so our client doesn't feel uncomfortable. If you're too light, it's going to itch and the client is also going to feel a little weirded out. It's a strange touch. We want to have purpose with our touch, and a healing touch. So we're going to apply our gel, and this gel smells so good. You would just want to sit in just a tub of that if you could. We always want to take care to preserve the modesty of our client, so if anytime a towel moves, we just want to make sure that we go back and make sure our client is comfortable. There's nothing worse than being exposed in front of a stranger. How does that feel for you Lizzie? Fine. Ok. We're going to go to the abdomen. When we work on the abdomen, we always want to work in a clockwise motion. If you don't work in a clockwise motion, you're going to upset the digestion system and we all know what that means."
