"Let's go on to shape wear a little bit more. This mannequin here is nice and seamless. Unfortunately, we don't all look like this, without some help. So, yes. Unfortunately, a lot of clothing is designed for something this shape. But there are ways for the rest of us mere humans to wear something. So let's talk about where women end up having extra padding. We do gain weight here on our sides. And that is biggest problem for most women. We also get up here in the front, our bottoms and our thighs. Our waists generally stay smaller than the rest of us. So when you wear a shape wear you want something that's going to give you the nicest smooth look. I don't like shape wear that comes to here because I feel like it cuts you. And you got a ridge here. So I think, if you're going to wear something wear it all the way up to your bra line. Or if you can get shape wear slip for under a dress, that's the best way to go. It's a nice smooth shape. You want it to hold you in here and here. And not move you around to some other place. So make sure that when you're wearing it, it's making you seamless and smooth. What you want to look for is not having any ridges or anything cutting into you. So if you see your panty line and you cannot avoid it in any way. Try Spanx over it or Coss and company. You can wear something on top that will cover your bra line. So even if your bra is fitting you properly, and you are having some ridges here, you can wear a smoothing tank top to get rid of those lines."
