"Okay, we're moving on to foundation. Now, as a teen you really don't want to use tremendous amounts of foundation. You want to keep it really basic; you want to see your skin through your makeup. Where you can get more dramatic is with the colors that you use, but not with your foundation. You really want to stay sheer. There's a time and a place for heavy foundation and it's not, you know, going to your ninth-grade math class, that's for sure. You just want to keep it really natural, and so I like using a light tinted moisturizer, or just a very light-weight liquid foundation. And you can use that as a concealer as well, so it's a two-stepper. You just basically want to put a very light coat all over the whole entire face. And you can use your fingers or a sponge as well. I like using a brush, I just think the application goes on much nicer and smoother, and you don't get your fingers all messy. If you use your fingers, make sure your hands are very clean. And if you use a sponge, that's fine as well, but make sure you change your sponge because sponges can carry bacteria. So after you do a light coat all over the whole face, and even a little bit around the neck, you want to use it as a concealer. So you just want to take a little bit, and where you need concealer is normally under the eyes. Which is where, sometimes you have a little darkness or redness. Around the nose, if you have a little bit of redness around your nose, it's a good place to put a little bit of concealer. On the chin and if you have a blemish somewhere. Which, my model has no blemishes, so I don't need to cover anything, thank you. So after you have the foundation all blended in, then you want to move on to your powder. And again, your powder should be very natural also. You want to use a nice, big fluffy brush, and you want to do a little at a time. And blend into the whole entire face. Just basically go over wherever you put your foundation, just to smooth it out, to control the oil, to keep it on longer. And you want to - you can put a little powder around your eye area too, but not a tremendous amount. You want to avoid powder underneath your eyes, because then it will start looking cakey toward the end of the day. And that's your natural foundation."
