" Hi! My name is Jamie Yasko-Mangum and I’m with Successful Style and Image. Today on Expert Village we’re going to talk about how to harmonize your suit, your tie and your shirt with a professional suit. Now we look at the suit color that we have, this one is a blue pen stripe suit, we have paired it I paired this with a two toned stay collar, long sleeve blue shirt two toned blue and white shirt, the tie that I think looks very appropriate with the suit is my multicolor silk tie herring bone bow tie. Now you might be saying, “WOW” there’s a lot of patterns going on with it but truly there’s not. We do have the pen stripe and we have the blue when you’re harmonizing first the shirt and the tie, you need to look at your tie. Your tie does not with the background need to completely 100% blend with the shirt, matter of fact the background doesn’t necessarily have to be the color of the shirt. However it does need to have a pattern within the tie that goes with the shirt, so remember again not background but somewhere in the pattern it needs to go with the shirt. Now let’s look at the tie with the shirt with the suit, again we have the tie it doesn’t have much of the background of the shirt, but it does have some of the blue-black navy suit. You have the blue that goes with the shirt, the black that goes with suit and the white that goes with the collar, so and the pen stripe is very narrow and you don’t see that as much. This is a very nice looking harmonizing just like if you had a white tie with a white shirt and put this on with our double ... Here you have a nice tie with the black with some gold, again look it is not the complete color of the shirt but it blends with the jacket, everything needs to blend with a pop of color. Thank you. "
