"Hi I'm Dustin here on behalf of Expert Village and I'm here at AA Callister. Today I'm going to talk about the enemies of your boot. What you're going to need to do to protect them against sweat, mildew, moisture, low humidity, sunlight, and dirt of course. Dirt and manure is always are horrible thing. A few things that you want to keep these off your boot or keep them out of it. When you keep something out of water it will keep mildewing or getting soggy. It's almost like pasta, if you let it soak to long leather can actually tear and rip. If you let it dry out it will be crunchy like cooked pasta. You want to keep from that, you want to use something like these leather conditioners and these cleaners like we use today in other videos. We've got these two here, these are the best recommendations I have: Big 4 and Lexall. This here is going to set you back about seven dollars and this here is going to set you back about six dollars, worth it, worth it! Leathers are great investments. You want to protect it against the elements; we want to first of all keep them off of it. We want to use this here Guard More, it's a water stain repellant and this is going to set you back about six dollars. Or, we have wax which just keeps it out entirely, this one here is the premium this is about eight dollars. Keeping low humidity will make it crack, you want to keep it out of that too. Especially here in Utah, I don't know if you have it out in your area. Those are just a few points that we have. Keep them out of the dirt as much as possible."
