"Now we are going to show you how to do a half up look. You can use this anywhere. I always wear my hair half up during the day and you can pair it with a pretty clip like this. You can get any kind of clip you want and it is a really pretty accent in the back of your hair and people notice it. The great thing is that you can accessorize with it. Let me show you how to do this. The first thing you want to do is you are going to want to take a comb like this, a very fine, thin comb and you are going to kind of just brush the crown and the crown is the top of your head. What I like to do is I take a section and I tease the back. What you are going to want to do is tease it for about five seconds. You can spray it a little bit too because it gives you some volume. You are going to tease it down and that is going to give you this look where it is coming over and then you take the sides and very loosely you do not want a very tight look, you want something that is loose and people think it took you two minutes to do, which it will by the way. So you are going to just do this on each side and you can do this with straight or curly hair, it doesn't really matter. It is a very simple look that can be easily maintained and our beautiful model has thick hair so it is great to do that. We are just going to do it very loosely like this and then we are going to pair it. You can do two things actually, you can put a little rubber band on it to hold it and then put the clip over it or you can just put the clip in if you think it is going to stay all day long. Then I put a little clip like this. Now that is a little loose but you can obviously do it tighter. What I do is I spray the sides and she has pretty bangs, so we can leave the bangs and we can actually curl the bottom as well. This is just a soft everyday look. You know when it gets hot out and you want to put your hair up but you don't want to put it in a ponytail because you think it looks too much when it is up and you can just do a half up deal. You can also wear it to a cocktail party, you can wear it to a dinner party and it looks very elegant as well."
