Color Coordinating Ties & Shirts

"Oh Hi! I'm Douglas Willott on behalf of Expert Village, and today were gonna talk about coordinating your shirt with your tie. There's more to color coordinating your tie and your shirt than just the tie and shirt. When it's time to put on the full suit or maybe just a nice suit jacket over your outfit. For instance, right now since I'm putting on a darker suit, that's why I am wearing a tie that is a slightly darker shade of violet, than the violet shirt I'm wearing underneath. This way it leads into the dark suit very nice and it pops out in a really pleasant way. Additionally, down here we've got a slightly less traditional suit, we have a jacket and pants that don't fully coordinate, with a shirt that is a dark chocolate brown that's gonna go great with this jacket and pants, but finding a tie to match them could be a little tricky. The best thing to do, pick something like the jacket or the pants that it's gonna stand out nice with, that way your shirt's already gonna coordinate with your suit, but your gonna coordinate your tie with the jacket, instead of just the shirt. It looks really nice when you take the full ensemble and put it together. "
