"Hi! I'm Aneta Filardo, owner of Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center and I am here on behalf of Expert Village. During segment 10, I will be discussing why is it not good to tweeze or wax in between treatments. Because your hair grows in cycles. It is only the active phase where the follicle can be permanently disabled 20 percent of the time and it takes 6 to 8 weeks to complete each cycle. Tweezing and waxing can reverse some of the treatment because it is not disabling the entire follicle and can over stimulate the hair follicle often causing 2 hairs in its place or ingrown hairs often thus resulting in more treatments needed. For more tips on laser hair removal, check out my other segments on Expert Village. "
