"One example of high visibility law enforcement is our check-points. That is the number one tool that we have that we can go in and help stop drunk driving. Number one it's actually out there catching offenders on the spot. Plus, number two, it's going out and it's letting people know that these checkpoints can be anywhere at anytime. One of the versions here in North Carolina that we're looking at is they're not all just at night, either. One of the fastest growing time periods that we have for actually catching people with DWI is ten o'clock in the morning. So having these checkpoints, going in and supporting this law enforcement to where people see the visibility is out there. So they think before they go out and have too much to drink and get behind the wheel. The high visibility, like I said, that is probably the most effective tool that we've got. That's one example. One of the other things we do as well is just being in the community. Partnering with law enforcement, going together to make presentations, going together with these press conferences and these events that we do, like "Booze It and Lose It" and "Click It and Ticket". These are very high visible programs, they've got a lot of funding support on the federal side as well as on the state side to help go in. And we market it just like anyone's doing toothpaste or donuts. We try and market it the same way to let people know that we're there. We're trying to help save lives. "
