Sure, you've heard bumps and knocks at hours when all the residents of the house should have been asleep. No lights are on but the spooky noises continue. Maybe you even think something or somebody calls out your name. The possibility runs through your mind that you could be hearing a ghost. But what do you really know about ghosts? Have you ever met a ghost or engaged one in conversation? Ever seen a picture of one? Then how will you know when you encounter one? Why judge paranormal phenomena by what you've seen in horror movies and cheap television shows when you can get the facts from Expert Village?
In this series of supernatural detective videos, our ghost hunting expert gives you the lowdown on how to interact and even photograph ghosts. If you think you may be in the presence of a spirit, talk to them, warn them that you intend no harm, flatter them and tell them you would like to know more about them. Then take photos, lots of photos and you may just get an image of a light or a wisp of fog that you can't explain. You know what that signifies? Watch these videos and find out. Or else your conscience may haunt you for eternity.
"Hi, my name is David Stay here on behalf of Expert Village. I am a paranormal investigator, a ghost hunter if you will. I have been researching and studying and hunting paranormal phenomenon for the last 20 years, including ontology, the study of being. Perhaps growing up in a haunted house might have begun this excursion into the unknown. I originally started working in the paranormal with the NESPR. The New England Society of Psychic Research that was founded by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Probably two of the most famous ghost hunters in the entire world. Working for the NESPR it incorporated dealing with a lot of negative energy and dealing with negative energy there are consequences behind it. Number one, even though I am not fond of organized religion I believe in God. That is key. And in order to do work with negative energy you must be in the light of God. I was actually involved with three exorcisms. I did not perform the exorcisms. Exorcisms are done by men of the cloth but they do need assistance. And in doing that kind of work, again there are consequences. My consequences, as being in the light of God nothing can harm you physically, but they can mess with you psychologically. And what was occurring with me, I was being grabbed from the bed. So imagine lying in bed and having hands grab you from the mattress. It takes a toll on you. So I lasted a little over year and I couldn't handle it anymore. So from then on I continued my research and my studies in the paranormal where I deal with more benign energy, harmless energy."
