"In this clip we'll talk about whether or not you can give free gifts to your attendees at your convention. Certainly free is great. It's going to bring in the attendees in bigger numbers in the hopes that they are either going to get something for free or win something for free. But again, free has to come out of your budget. So free is not always an option. One of the interesting things that you should be aware of, and something that happened to me unexpectedly, was because of the advertising I did on the event, I was actually contacted by a promotional company called Promotrack, to promote this, which was an advanced copy of Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 for the PS2. Because my convention was so niche, they decided to launch their campaign of all things, with my event. And they sent me twenty copies of the PS2 game. They sent me posters, they sent me t-shirts, they sent me figurines. All to promote the PS2 game on behalf of Bandai Games. Get them for free, contact your publicity people, put them out there and you're going to find that people will actually get in touch with you to promote their product. And there's your free avenue."
