"Back here to the base of the skull you can feel some of the tension just kind of melting away as you provide the gentle stroking to those muscles back there. As I straightening out her head, then I'm basically using my fingertips to massage the base of the skull. So this motion, but with both the hands working at the same time, so I'm working both sides of her skull. Again, in round circular motions I'm just massaging from the middle towards the spine, back out and round circular motions. Then, what I'll do is I'll let the head gently rest on the table and you can see my hands are starting to work their way back on the skull and what you want to do is start grabbing some of the skin on the skull and just gently massaging the skull all the way to the tempo area. You're just gently moving the skin and then the thumbs, you start down the center line of the skull. There's a suture there that you don't necessarily see but it exists and if we just work our thumbs down the center and then to the left and to the right, it feels really good to the person you're working on and in fact you might even put some of them to sleep which is okay. So you just gently massage the head working your thumbs on the tempo area and again my fingers are always doing something as well. So if my thumbs are up here on the tempo my fingers are on the lower part of the head and basically what I do to finish out a massage is as I relax the person's head, I come here for a finishing hold, take a deep breath. You'll notice that the client just by instinct takes a deep breath with you, again and then one nice gentle finishing stroke on the neck bringing it all the way up and shake it off."
