"Alright, so Molinia can I have you lift your knees up? Great, welcome back we're going to be discussing basically what massage is and how it benefits the elderly and ill. Massage is basically the use of manually manipulation to relief aches and pains of soft tissue, increase blood circulation and give you an overall sense of well being. Now, as far as our elderly clients are concerned and the ill, this gives them a chance for one on one attention. The individuals don't necessarily get as much contact as they've had in the past, they don't get as many hugs, they don't get their hands held, all these various things that these individuals need aren't always being met. They have aches and pains just like you and me, they have stress, they have anxiety and so through the use of massage we're going to be able to address a lot of those issues."
