Series Summary

In our contemporary culture many individuals suffer from a low self esteem. The media and our entertainment industry buffet the individual with unrealistic expectations about what makes success, what our bodies should look like, and how perfect our relationships should be. It is no wonder that in a world with so many false representations of love, success, and beauty so many of us feel below average and imperfect. Improving self esteem can lead to better performances at work and school, an attractive self confidence when dealing with others, less time spent worrying or stressing over how we appear to others, and a more healthy mental and emotional life overall. We all have insecurities, but some negative thinking can be self-destructive and stunting. It is important to identify insecurities, assess them, and look for ways of living past them with a healthy self image and confidence.

In this free video series, professional communicator and business consultant Tracy Goodwin teaches you how to improve low self esteem. Tracy covers identifying your fears and insecurities, debunking self-destructive thinking and improving self esteem with help from others. She will offer tips for correcting poor habits of thought, addressing perfectionism and faking it until you make it. You will also learn good advice for dealing with a poor self image and how to set small goals to improve morale and build momentum.

With all these good words here and other places on the net that I have read, I find them all very much of surface subatance in teaching "How to Improve Self Esteem". I was previously a victim of Low Self-Esteem throughout my teenage years, and young adult life. I have tried many different courses in the past, and every one of them just don't seem to take you deep enough to literally, "Physically" Take hold of this thing called "Low Self Esteem" and Shake the hell out of it, out of your system!
