"Now we're going to talk about sunglass care. Is sunglass care any different than the care for your regular glasses? A little bit. Same things apply - you have to check the screws, the temples can get flared out. But often times where do we keep our sunglasses? Sometimes we keep them in the car. In the summer in particular, and if you're in Texas like we are, it's hot nine months out of the year, your glasses can really get bent out of shape and even melt when it comes to hot sun. The other thing is that some sunglasses are polarized lenses. In polarized lenses what will happen if impacted by high heat, the chemical process will actually become eroded at the edges. The heat will deteriorate the polarized protection on the outside and you'll wind up with what looks like dissipating tint on the outside of the frame. Heat can do that and pressure, so you have to be wary of putting them on your head and stretching them out like so because you can really deteriorate the polarization by using pressure and heat. So be careful. Other than that, the care is going to be the same. Check your screws. The cleaning of the lens is the same, you can use the same solution that we talked about earlier. Just be aware of where you're keeping these sunglasses."
