" Hi! I am Monica and I am speaking on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to show you some exercises that you can do for your shoulder. We will go through some range of motion, some stretching and some strengthening exercises. Range of motion is really good to warm up your shoulders, joints, muscles and the ligaments, everything kind of ready for exercise, so it’s going to increase the blood flow and increase your circulation. Stretching is really good for the muscles and the tendons just to make sure they are nice and limber and that as you are performing you know your everyday activities that you’re not going to be hampered or limited by tight muscles and you are not going to have shoulder problems or back or neck problems just because the muscles are too tight. Then for strengthening exercises are going to be doing strengthening the muscles so that when you are doing the activities you need to do everyday you are not going to be getting totally worn out and sore and just having problems. Like I said we will do range of motion, strengthening and stretching. Usually you will want to do range of motion, first warming up, followed by stretches and then strengthening which is the order that we will do them in. "

on 8/2/2008 I broke my shoulder and tore the rotator cuff and some muscles. I am 6 weeks into recovery and doing so well my bone doctor decided I can now do my own therapy so he did not order more PT for me. I feel I still need some guidance and was really happy to find all these videos you made. I have bookmarked them and thank you very much for the awesome help. My shoulder WILL HEAL now I am sure. I never had to have the surgery they said I would need either :D
