"in our next segment today in our office in Winter Park. This segment we're going to focus on what the Chinese definition of health is. Chinese believe in prevention. That's probably the simplest definition and the most complex definition. They believe in four levels of traditional Chinese medicine. One being acupuncture. The second being herbs, nutrition. The third being Tuina (spells it out), which is that bone setting or modern chiropractic and a little bit of massage therapy in there as well. And then the fourth being Chi Kon which is the Chinese version of stretching, but also it's a very, very specific ancient breathing technique that gets the chi flowing. Prevention, as well as the four levels of traditional Chinese medicine, tie into the chi. The energy force, the life force, the energy flow of the body and so there's different ways to measure that and different ways to treat that. But they believe that that chi has to continue to flow, and we've kind of measured it, and I think the Chinese did before, of course, then the Americans did. We measured it to be 8 to 10 hertz. So, we can measure that and look at that. But, the Chinese really believe that needs to flow through at least 12 meridians, 12 researched patterns, pathways. So, without that you have no life. You're heading towards a state of disease versus a state of health. And, so we want to turn that life force on and that's what the Chinese definition of health is."
