Your back pain is begging for a cure. If you haven't visited a chiropractor, now is the time. Chiropractic care is based on the premise that spinal joint dysfunction can result in a variety of diminished health conditions by interfering with the nervous system. It is a health care profession which diagnoses and treats disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system, and commonly includes spinal adjustments and decompression. While using spinal adjustment for back pain has been around since ancient Egypt, chiropractors now use a variety of methods, including massage, strength training, electrical stimulation and traction in order to treat patients.

In this free video series a certified physical therapist, Dr. Karen Pryor, will show you several holistic methods to help treat back pain. You'll begin by learning a few natural prevention methods for back pain, such as: good nutrition, exercise and hydration. Dr. Pryor will then show you several techniques you can use to naturally alleviate your back pain. You'll learn exercises for sitting, lying down and even standing that will help calm those pesky pains. Dr. Pryor is also a story teller and with a few explanations of how your body works you'll begin visualizing how your nerves, discs and spinal cord work in relation to your body. "Have you got pain? Well if you have neck or back pain, we have a solution for you. Many times its cause by dehydration, poor nutrition, not enough exercise, and various other points. So if we can have your attention for just a little while we may have some helpful hints for you. Eight out of ten people will have neck or back pain at some point in their life. So, that is about eighty percent of the people, and sometimes it is eighty percent of the time. We found in the clinic that if our patients drink one half ounce to one ounce per pound of their body weight unless they are fluid restrictions, they will decrease their back pain by approximately fifty to seventy percent within a week. Great. Lets try some of those things. Also, supplements. We don't have all the nutrition in our food as we used to because we are farming the same soil and we are only putting back nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. But we need ninety elements and minerals and vitamins and amino acids and enzymes to build our cells back. So supplements are a very reasonable way to make our body repair itself. And everything in our body repairs itself."
