"In this clip we'll talk about the cost of breast reduction. The cost of breast reduction, just like the cost of any other elective surgery, will clearly vary depending on who you go to, what type of facility. There will be a cost for the physician, and then there will be a cost for the anesthesia provider, and a cost for the facility. And, those may be combined all together depending on if it's an office operating room or if it's in a hospital or surgery center, they may be separate fees. The cost would range, typically, anywhere from $6,000 to perhaps $10,000 or $12,000. Depending on certain parts of the country where the cost of living is higher. That would be, approximately, the costs for breast reduction surgery. In addition regarding breast reduction costs and payment, there is the possibility that health insurance may cover a portion of breast reduction surgery because of the possibility that there actually has been some medical problem related to back pain and neck pain. This does take a lot of justification and time, and not all surgeons and not all insurance companies can participate with that."
