" Hi! I am Angela on behalf of expertvillage.com and right now I will be discussing posture and the calf measures. The calf measure will determine whether or not your chair is too deep, so I right now am leaning against my chair all the way. A way to determine whether or not it is too deep is if it is difficult to slide your fists through like this, and as you can see this chair is too deep for me which would require a backrest. So for it to be proper my fist would do something like this and this helps posture, it is more comfortable. If I had a backrest right here, if my back would be fully aligned and my legs will be going straight out. Whereas when I lean completely against it, I have a tendency for my shoulders to shrug forward, so if you get a backrest that will cure the problem and that is the calf measure and a way to measure posture.
