A lot of these nutrients that are supporting nutrients that we see in energy metabolism are actually found in some of the fortified and enriched foods. What that means is either that the foods are either being enriched back with your nutrients that that was actually lost during processing or they are being fortified. They are adding nutrients in and the reason why they are doing this so they're aren't efficiencies in any producing nutrients. However it's really important to understand that only some of these nutrients are being added back in and not all of that. One of the nutrients that are not being added back in is chromium so when whole grains are being refined from a brown rice to a white rice that chromium is not being add back in. As we just saw in mineral section chromium is an important mineral for energy metabolism. So it's important to try to get some of the whole foods when you are trying to get that right amount of nutrients for energy metabolism.
