"Hi I'm Mario Amaya and on behalf of Expert Village and in this segment I like give you some exercises for the left hand in flamenco guitar playing. Well first of all it is good to practice these exercises without a capo and the first exercise I would recommend is chromatic scales and these could be played using either the right hand thumb or picado. (playing guitar) A variation on that is this exercise(playing guitar)and so on up and down in all strings. I found that a very useful exercise. One can divide all kinds of exercise for developing slurs with are called resbaladeros in Spanish and one exercise is like this and you could also do this. I'm sorry. As you can see I'm just trying to do as many possibilities as possible of slurs going up and down Now for chords I found it very useful to hold a chord properly and firmly and just strum wit the right hand like this for maybe 12 times. (strumming)Doing that helps you hand remember that chord. Thanks for watching and please watch our other videos in this category or see my website for more information."
