in this segment I'm going to talk to you a little bit about the Picado technique in flamenco guitar playing. In Picado we alternate the index and middle fingers of the right hand to pluck the strings and it could be a very fast and exciting technique(playing). So the Picado technique involves alternating the middle and index fingers and it is a rest stroke we slide on the flesh of the finger tip and pluck with the nail and then rest on the next string. Something that differentiates flamenco Picado from classical guitar Picado is that in flamenco it's much strong and more dynamic, classical guitar playing uses Picado but it is kind of a soft gentle technique where they are so concerned about the sound, the tone that they mainly the rhythm But flamenco is mainly with the rhythm and strength and speed. Please see the next segment for information about playing arpeggios in flamenco guitar playing.
