"Right now we are going to talk about chapter five which is turntables direction. Now as you see this would be the regular way to turntable normally goes. This was back in the day this was where a lot of people would start off at you know if you are Dj or rocking a party or whatever you are doing you know you are the hottest Dj in your land. Normally this was a little bit I would say coming up when the turntable begin. This way pretty much with needle one you have a tendency to when you are backing up or scratching run the needle right off. So what we do now and this has been going on for a lot of years is we turn it to a 90 degree angle which they call a battle. This was pretty much the battle way of doing it. They had Dj coffins where a coffin would be made for the mixer to be in the middle and the turntables on a 90 degree battle angle. Pretty much getting your point across as far as scratching when a needle is here you got all this area to scratch without hitting the arm and if you are doing a party whatever you are not going to run into the needle."
