How to Garnish Hot Apple Cider for Parties

"Hello, my name’s Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I’m going to teach you a couple of different ways to make the perfect cup of hot apple cider. Now in our final clip, we’re just going to garnish once again our hot cup of apple cider. Now what I like to do is to set up a station, perhaps near your kitchen or wherever you’re having your party. Again it’s great to use a crock-pot, in this case we’ve used our um, coffee maker here for a smaller party we’ll say, but it’s great, in case for instance you’re having a Halloween party you can go and get some fun cups, have them right there on hand. I also always like to have some cinnamon sticks in hand, in case somebody wants to put them inside there too, you’ll take this, put that in and much like an earlier clip I always like to leave some of the spices, in case you want to spice things up with the pumpkin pie spice or the ground nutmeg and then you can always have your whipped cream close by in a little bucket of ice, because of course you don’t want this to rot or anything depending on how long your party is. So it’s always good to have to have it, in maybe a little bucket of ice, again, you can really jazz this up, depending on your party, think of all the things you can get, all the different Halloween things, you can get spiders, you can get cobwebs and things to decorate up the spaces. Certainly we’ve got like sort of a spider theme here. Another thing you can always do if you are serving the apple cider to your guests is again take your whipped cream, put it on top, and drizzle your, either your nutmeg or your pumpkin pie spice on top, but in kid’s stores you can get those really big, sort of plastic bugs, you can put a bug on top too, and sort of garnish is with that, adds a little bit of flavor to it.
