"Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we're are going to be talking about how to elegantly decorate your Christmas tree. In our next clip let's talk about adding a skirt to the bottom of your tree. If you want elegance of course at the bottom of your tree you don't want to see where you're watering it. You don't want to see the tree stand itself. You need to think about what kind of skirt you want. Elegance again is entirely up to you. So, here we have decided for a gold trimmed skirt. Kind of adds a little bit of luster to it but we also have some of the balls and ornaments on our tree that have gold accents. So you want to think about when you are skirting the tree. How is that going to accent the tree? How is that going accent the decorations? You want everything to work together. Especially color combinations as well. So, it depends on what your theme is too, some people have themed trees. First and foremost before I even start decorating the tree though I add the skirt; give it a little of more color and you don't want to see anything under there, again where you're watering it or where your actual tree stand is. So, get yourself a real good skirt, something that you like that you'll be able to use as years to come and you'll save yourself some money in the long run as well. "
