Summary: Learn how to cut paper snowflakes in this free Christmas crafts video.
"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm gonna show you today how to make some paper snowflakes. There is a definite symmetry to cutting and understanding that point is very important before you even start using the scissors hacking into your paper. So, we're basically gonna go over the triangle we have creating and kind of understanding the different corners and edges of it. And kind of the different areas you gonna focus on to get different effects on your paper snowflakes. So, let's basically turn to our folded triangle of paper now. And which should be already to go, sitting here waiting to be cut. And there will be different size of it. First off there will be the longest side of the triangle which a for you who remember High School geometry, that is the hypotenuse side of your triangle. Anyway, you are not gonna be cutting along this so much if at all, general I do not suggest cutting on the longest side. You can, you can but, often times it seems like the most mistakes seem to happen on this side. The side that you're gonna want to focus on. The side which is most important is the side that is just the fold. There's note, you can't unfold it, there's no peel to it, it's just, it's the paper folded over. This is the heart, this is the inside of your snowflake. If you can imagine it, in basically several more quadrants, three more quadrants to form your snowflake. This is the core of it, up here on your other side where you can see the folding, this is gonna be the outside of allot of your snowflake. So, I mean anything, if you'd like want this to be largely gone or anything like that, definitely you are going to be hacking a lot up here as well. "
