"Season's Greetings! I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you today how to create an elf costume. Okay, now elves do not have exactly the same ears as humans. In most traditions, elves have pointy ears like some other science fiction aliens do. We're going to basically use our little sharp ear tips. These are pretty easy to do. There's a couple of different ways of applying them. The first I'll apply is the easiest, which is where you basically take the ear tip, you're going to put it over the round ear, and you're going to kind of tuck it down around like that. Again, being careful on your ear, and you're going to leave it like that. Now, you can also apply some makeup to it to help it blend in better. Essentially, this is the affect. There's your elf ear nice and pointy. Now, the other way to apply this is if you expect to be doing lots of crazy dancing or other big movements throughout the evening, then you should consider gluing this pointy ear to the rest of your ear. You can actually so this with gum spirits, which are a pretty great generally safe way to adhere makeup appliances to your ear. That's another thing to do. In general, probably putting the pointy ears here with a good grip is going to get you there for your elf costume."
