"Hi, my name's David Bradshaw. I am talking about the distribution of TV content wirelessly around your home. I'm going to talk for a moment about the type of devices you need. I've talked already about the need for a PC connected to a TV somewhere in your house. This PC is connected wirelessly by 802.11N or Wi-Fi to a router down in my basement. And then in order to enable a connection to other TVs for viewing purposes around the home, you're going to need something called a Media Center Extender. Now on this PC you have some software called Media Center that allows you to view TV content, radio content, photos, music whatever you like. And what we're going to do is take that same capability and use it to stream that content wirelessly to other rooms in the house. In order to have that happen you also need something called a Media Center Extender that sits next to those other TVs in the house. A good example of one of those is an Xbox 360. A lot of people have these today. It has a Wi-Fi capability on these devices. And if you situate one of these next to a TV somewhere in the house, it allows this device to talk wirelessly to this PC and allows the distribution of that TV video streaming to this device on those other screens in the home."
