"Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village, and we are making our little pilgrim placeholders, and we are just about done. We are going to trim up the hat a little bit. So, we're going to take our black fabric and, again, I'm using just some black cotton scraps that I had left over. And, just kind of eyeball it, you cut a little strip, like that, and you want to go ahead and measure, make sure that it goes around the hat like that, and then I want it a little thinner - I don't want it quite that thick. So you just take your scissors, and cut it, like that. This is a really easy project. Kids can manage this project very easily. But again, be sure that you help them if they're going to use the glue gun. So you wrap it around like that, and you just glue it down. And now we're going to add the buckle, and we're going to do that with paint, it's the easiest way to do it. So, I'm going to go ahead and use white paint. Take your paintbrush, dip it in there, and then just carefully make a little buckle. So that's your pilgrim, and now you're just going to make your place card, and you can use whatever you want, cardstock, paper, or foam. I went ahead and used foam for mine. You just cut out whatever the right size is. Just kind of eyeball it, and I already have one for my little one here. This one's a little smaller, and I wrote my name on it, just with a marker, and so you just lean it up against there, and you have a very adorable little placeholder!"
