"I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and now we're just going to be finishing off our little pine cone turkey. So we have put in the feathers are we are ready to give its little feet. Now for this, you are probably going to want to go ahead and use the hot glue gun and again, help your children because I don't think that regular glue will do the job as well on the pine cone. So, it's very easy. You just heat up your glue, just put some little strip of glue there and then you just pick a spot for the feet, wherever you think they look good, like that. Make sure you stick them out a little bit so that you can actually be able to see them. You can play around with the placement. And that one can go there. Let's find a little spot for it to cling to like that. Those are the feet and next we're going to make the head. Now the head is kind of a free hand shape. We're just going to want to take your pipe cleaner, fold it in half like that, and then kind of grab it halfway down again and fold it under. And then just try and give it a shape like a turkey if you can see that. And then you're going to want to create a loop for it to wrap around part of the pine cone. Like that. And it will hang on. And pipe cleaners, it's actually wire in the middle, so you can basically work with it very easily. And as you can see, that looks like a little turkey head. Next we're going to attach the eyes and these are little pom poms. Again they come in different sizes, different colors, in little packs at the craft store. They are very inexpensive and these also work well with the hot glue gun. So again, help your child put a little dot and then just pick a spot. There. And there you have it. An adorable little turkey. This project has been around for years but it never gets old. Stick around. In the next clip I'm going to show you how to make a pilgrim placeholder."
