"UNIQUE ANDERSON: On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Unique Anderson and I'm here at Energy Fitness in New York City, and we're talking about speed, agility and plyometric step training. Now, this time, what we're going to do is a lateral drill over the platform. Now, basically, what we want to focus on is keeping your core nice and tight, making sure that your body is pretty much centered in the middle of the platform. You're going to step over into the next side; you're stepping over into the next side. Again, everybody can do this as basic, intermediate or advanced. So you can get an older person to do this or you get a younger person to do it. So you're here, stepping over and back; again, always focusing on your posture, keeping that chest upright, keeping that core engaged. When you want to get a little bit faster, you want to work bringing your body lower to the ground. So you're here, side-to-side, side-to-side, side-to-side. Okay, keep dropping your arms, keep the core tight and you want to touch to the platform."
