Now we're going to talk about the strategy in shot selection, which is huge because, you never want to hit a shot when somebody is in the front court, right to them or in an area where you will give them a setup. So, a low percent of the shots are if somebody is in front of you and you hit a pinch shot or anything that happens in the front court when they are up front is just poor shot selection. If the person is in front of me, now listen close, this is the golden rule. If an opponent is in front of me I will pass them, either down the line or I will make the choice to go cross court, again if they are in front of me. So if they are in front of me I'll hit a down the line or a cross court. If that ball hits the side wall it would be like this. Well an opponent?s already in front of me, they could just take one step and get it and kill it. Terrible shot is to be back here, have an opponent in front of me and hit these pinches or a kill shot. I am only going to hit a pinch or a kill shot when my opponent is in back of me. If I'm running up here and I get a ball and they're in back of me and I pass it it goes right back to them. So, shot selection is very important and learn that golden rule. When the opponent is in front of me I pass. When the opponent is in back of me I pinch, that simple.
